Spring Returns to the Dew-Kissed Branches

Spring Returns to the Dew-Kissed Branches Plot

Elena, a top bomb disposal expert, returns to Sterling Harbor after an overseas mission — only to face an impossible choice on her first day home. Her son Oliver and Blair, her husband Grant's foster sister, are both strapped with timed explosives. She wants to save her child first, but Grant forces her to defuse Blair's bomb by threatening her mother Diane's dignity and safety. Oliver dies in the explosion.
Elena then hears Grant confess that their marriage was never real — she was only a shield to protect Blair.
She files for divorce and begins uncovering the truth, but is met with one devastating blow after another: forced to take the blame for her son's death, her mother driven to death by a secretly filmed video, her loved ones' ashes desecrated, her color vision damaged in a fireworks explosion, and her mother's ashes turned into a memorial diamond as a final humiliation.
After losing everything, Elena sees Grant and Blair for who they truly are — and begins preparing to leave Sterling Harbor and make those who hurt her pay.
