The Exiled Princess Returns: Crowned by the Gods Plot

In the frozen lands of the Viking North, Skulrun, the only daughter of Chieftain Harald, is raised in secret as a boy. Her mother, Astrid, believes Skulrun is the child foretold by prophecy—the warrior chosen by Odin to unite the northern clans.
At the age of ten, Skulrun defeats an opponent twice her size in a brutal arena battle. Just as Harald prepares to declare her his heir, her true identity is exposed before the entire clan.
Furious that his promised successor is a girl, Harald denounces his own daughter as a fraud who has defied the gods. To secure the throne for the unborn son carried by Astrid's maid and secret rival, Ingrid, he orders both Astrid and Skulrun to be executed.

Skulrun is wounded by her father's axe and dragged away by a monstrous one-eyed wolf. Everyone assumes she has been killed. Astrid is captured, disfigured by Ingrid, and condemned to spend the rest of her life as a humiliated slave in the clan she once ruled.
But Skulrun survives.
Driven to the brink of death, she awakens the berserker power hidden within her blood and kills the demon wolf with her own hands. She is rescued by Gunnar, leader of the Frostblade Clan, but the trauma leaves her with no memory of her family or her past.
Twenty years later, Skulrun has become the Frostblade Clan’s undefeated female warrior. Armed with twin axes and feared across the North, she has earned the reputation of a living Valkyrie. Yet despite her victories, she remains haunted by fragments of blood, snow, ravens, and a mother's desperate voice.
One night, Odin appears in her dreams and places the legendary spear Gungnir in her hands. Guided by a divine prophecy, Skulrun learns that the truth of her bloodline lies in the northern ruins where her life was destroy
